Sarin Patel

Sarin Patel is currently a data scientist at Bodyport. Sarin has previously worked as a software engineer at Intel Corporation and a senior data scientist at Eight. Sarin has a wealth of experience in developing algorithms to extract biological information from raw signals, as well as in investigating user data and metrics against external data sources. Sarin has also developed methods to normalize raw accelerometer sensor data, and has designed and developed photoplethysmogram (PPG) signal quality assessment tools. Sarin is highly skilled in data management processes, and has trained new hires and interns in these processes.

Sarin Patel received a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedical Engineering from UC Irvine. Afterwards, they pursued a Master's Degree in Biomedical Engineering with a focus on Medical Device & Diagnostic Engineering from the University of Southern California.
