Andrea Plano

Andrea Plano began their work experience in 2007 as a Research Technician at the University of Aberdeen, where they implemented new techniques for electrophysiological data recording on rodents and analyzed EEG data. Andrea also had responsibilities such as writing protocols and reports, presenting posters at conferences, and advising on statistical analysis of biological data.

In 2011, Andrea moved to the University of York as an External Software Consultant, focusing on software development and porting of analysis tools for CARMEN, a virtual laboratory for neurophysiology. Andrea assisted neurophysiologists, neuroinformaticists, and computer scientists in bridging the gap between scientific fields and addressing the complete lifecycle of neurophysiology data.

Andrea started their consulting career in 2012 with Plano Andrea Consulting, where they worked as a Consultant for various clients until 2020.

In 2020, Andrea joined Boehringer Ingelheim as a Senior Clinical Biomarker Lead. Andrea later advanced to the role of Principal Clinical Biomarker Lead in 2022. The specific details of their work in these roles are not provided.
