Ankit Turakhiya

Ankit Turakhiya, PhD, currently serves as a Scientific Communications Manager at Boehringer Ingelheim since March 2024. Previously, Ankit held the position of Publications Manager - Immunology during a secondment at Merck KGaA from September 2022 to March 2024, and worked as a Senior Medical Writer at Bioscript from July 2021 to March 2024. Prior to that, Ankit was with Eli Lilly and Company from September 2018 to June 2021, ascending from Associate Manager to Senior Associate Manager in Medical Writing. Ankit completed doctoral studies at The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg, focusing on the ubiquitin proteasome system in neurodegenerative diseases as part of a graduate fellowship from 2013 to 2018. Early research experience includes a Junior Research Fellow position at the National Institute of Immunology and an internship at Nirlife Healthcare Ltd. Ankit holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology, an M.S. in Biotechnology, and a Bachelor’s degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences.
