Heidrun Dame has extensive experience in medical safety and pharmacovigilance, holding key positions at leading pharmaceutical companies. At Boehringer Ingelheim, Heidrun is the Director of Medical Safety, while at Pfizer, the role of Senior Director of Safety Surveillance and Risk Management has been undertaken. Previous roles include Medical Advisor and Medical Safety Consultant at Medtronic, Vice President of Pharmacovigilance and Medical Information at PROSAR, and various positions at MGI PHARMA, including Medical Director of Global Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance. Academic qualifications include a Doctorate in Medicine from The University of Freiburg and a Master of Science in Pharmaceutical Medicine from Hibernia College.
