Johannes Solzin

Johannes Solzin is a seasoned professional in the field of biotechnology, currently serving as Senior Principal Scientist and Lab Head of Development Core Analytics at the Virus Therapeutics Center of Boehringer Ingelheim since June 2014. Previously, Johannes held the role of Head of Bioassay Analytics in Quality Control at Rentschler Biotechnologie GmbH, leading a team in the development and validation of various bioassays. Earlier experience includes serving as a Groupleader at the University of Cologne, where research focused on cardiomyopathies, and as a Scientist/PhD at MBL Woods Hole, concentrating on reproductive biology. Educational qualifications include a PhD and Diplom in Biology from Helmholtz Zentrum Juelich and a Dipl. biol in Biology from the University of Cologne.
