Stelios Starras

Stelios Starras is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in operations development and lean management within the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as Head of Operations Development at Boehringer Ingelheim since January 2018, Stelios previously held multiple roles at FAMAR from October 2008 to January 2018, including Business Process Excellence Manager and Lean Manager. Key responsibilities included planning and facilitating kaizen events, developing lean roadmaps, training personnel in lean methodologies, and improving packaging processes. Stelios also coordinated processes as Head of the Packaging Department, monitored department KPIs, and ensured compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices. Stelios holds a Diploma in Chemical Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens, obtained in 2007.
