Virginio Ramos

Virginio Ramos is an experienced IT professional with a strong background in business support and management within the pharmaceutical industry. Currently serving as the Head of Business Support in IT Research, Development and Medicine at Boehringer Ingelheim since September 2016, Virginio oversees Quality Management, Regulatory Affairs, Pharmacovigilance, and global Patents. Previously, leadership roles included Head of Systems Business Support in Global Regulatory Affairs and IT Business Partner for Spain and Portugal at GSK CH. Virginio's career began at Novartis, where various positions ranged from IT Manager for Iberia to Business Analyst in AS400 and BPCS, emphasizing stakeholder management, project portfolio management, and SAP support. Virginio holds a Master’s degree in SAP R/3 from La Salle and has undertaken extensive training in relevant technologies and systems.
