Hugh Webster

Hugh Webster is the Chief Technology Officer at Boeing Defence Australia, where they are responsible for designing and operating innovation activities, coordinating technical strategy inputs into the company's long-range business plan, and leading the R&D program. They have a strong background in command and control systems, communications, and software systems, coupled with diverse experience in strategy development across multiple business disciplines. Hugh gained foundational engineering knowledge with a Bachelor of Engineering from UNSW, which they completed in 1993, and previously served as an engineer in the Royal Australian Air Force from 1990 to 1999.
