Karen Shepherd

Karen Shepherd currently serves as Senior Manager for National Strategic Partnerships at Boeing since November 2024. Prior to this role, Karen held various leadership positions at The Washington Ballet, including Interim Executive Director, where responsibilities encompassed operational oversight across multiple campuses and administrative functions such as budget development and fundraising, as well as Director of Government Affairs, Advancement and Community, which involved strategic government and corporate fundraising initiatives. Karen also worked at Levine Music as Head of Maryland Campuses, managing financial oversight and partnerships, and served as a consultant for the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra. Earlier experience includes managing artist services at IMG Artists, working closely with renowned musicians. Educational qualifications include a Certificate of Business Management from William & Mary and a Bachelor of Arts in Music and German.
