Manuel Hernandez, PhD, is a Senior Propulsion Aerodynamics Engineer at Boeing, leading strategic flight sciences projects with a focus on high-fidelity simulations. They have previously held positions as a Principal Engineer at Pratt & Whitney and a Combustion CFD Design Engineer at GE Power, specializing in optimizing turbine designs and combustion techniques. Manuel earned a PhD, as well as both a Master’s and Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from The University of Texas at El Paso, achieving a perfect 4.0 GPA during their doctoral studies. They also contributed as a Propulsion Engineer at NASA and engaged in research at the University of Texas, enriching their expertise in the field.
