Nick Rooney is an accomplished aerospace engineer with expertise in rotorcraft gearbox design and aircraft structures. They began their career with an internship at Sikorsky Aircraft in 2009, followed by roles at Boeing, where they led design engineering initiatives for the H-47 Chinook and 777X projects. Rooney holds a B.S.E. and M.S.E. in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Villanova University. Currently, they serve as a Rotorcraft Drive Systems Engineering Manager for the DefiantX program at Boeing.
