Thomas Liu

Thomas Liu is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in energy policy and management. Currently serving as the Deputy Regional Director for the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management since September 2012, Thomas oversees internal operations for the Pacific Region and advises on renewable and conventional energy policies. Notable past roles include participation in the White House Office of Management & Budget's Senior Executive Service Candidate Development Program, where Thomas managed energy programs for the Department of the Interior, and a tenure as a Presidential Management Fellow at the National Park Service, advising on business operations. Academic credentials include an MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management, a B.S. in Management Science & Engineering from Stanford University, and additional executive education from Harvard Kennedy School.
