Anja Brunsveld-Reinders has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Anja has worked at various organizations and held multiple roles throughout their career.
From 1991 to 1996, Anja worked at Ziekenhuis Amstelland as a Verpleegkundige and later as an In opleiding tot verpleegkunde A.
In 1997, they joined VUmc and served as an IC verpleegkundige in opleiding until 1998. Anja then transitioned to the role of an Intensive Care verpleegkundige from 1998 to 1999.
Anja began their tenure at Leiden University Medical Center in 1999 as an Intensive Care Nurse and worked in that position until 2002. Anja then took on the role of Team Manager from 2002 to 2007.
In 2006, Anja became a Research Nurse at Leiden University Medical Center and continued in that position until 2016. During that time, they also served as a Donatie coördinator from 2012 to 2017 and a Quailty Advisor from 2016 to the present.
Anja pursued their PhD at Leiden University Medical Center and worked as a PHD Candidate from 2010 to 2016. Anja is currently serving as a Programmamanager Academische Verpleegkunde, starting from October 2020.
In addition to their roles in the medical field, Anja has taken on other positions in healthcare. Anja served as a Member of Editorial Board for Nurse Academy Ziekenhuiszorg starting from April 2020. Anja also became a Thesis supervisor for the Master Evidence Based Practice in Health Care from September 2019.
Most recently, Anja has joined Bohn Stafleu van Loghum as an Editor in Chief for TVZ, section research, as of January 2022.
Anja Brunsveld-Reinders holds a Master's degree in Kwaliteit en Veiligheid in de patientenzorg, which they obtained from Radboud University between 2016 and 2018. Anja also pursued an Opleiding Safety-II veiligheidsonderzoeker at Voqx - Innovative Safety from 2018 to 2019. Prior to that, they earned a Master of Science (MSc) degree in Evidence Based Practice in Health Care from the University of Amsterdam from 2010 to 2012.
Anja has undertaken various additional certifications to enhance their education and skills. Anja completed the Basiscursus Regelgeving en Organisatie voor Klinisch onderzoekers at NFU - Nederlandse Federatie van Universitair Medische Centra in July 2023. In September 2018, they attained a certification in Kwaliteit en Veiligheid in de Patientenzorg from Radboud University. Anja obtained a certification in Evidence Based Practice in Health Care from the University of Amsterdam in September 2012. Anja also undertook a course in Research Nursing / Clinical Research Coordination at Transfergroep Rotterdam in April 2009.
Additionally, Anja has several certifications related to their earlier education. Anja completed an Opleiding van kader in de gezondheidszorg at Hogeschool Leiden in July 2004. In August 1998, they successfully completed an Intensive Care Verpleegkunde program at VUmc. Anja obtained a certification as an A-Verpleegkundige from Ziekenhuis Amstelland in February 1993. Anja's education history also includes a Middelbaar dienstverlenend gezondheids onderwijs Afdeling verpleging (vp) certification from C.S.G. Morgenland in December 1990. Lastly, they completed their MAVO education at Rijksscholengemeenschap Coevorden in July 1987.
