JoAnn Lighty

Dean, College of Engineering at Boise State University

JoAnn Lighty is the current Dean of the College of Engineering at Boise State University. JoAnn has had an extensive and successful career in chemical engineering, with previous positions including Division Director at the National Science Foundation, By-Fellow at Churchill College, and Professor at the University of Utah. JoAnn has been recognized for their outstanding work in the field of chemical engineering, and their passion for teaching and mentoring students.

JoAnn Lighty has a BS in Chemical Engineering from the University of Utah and a PhD in Chemical Engineering from the University of Utah. JoAnn is currently a systems thinking CEU April-May 2021 from MIT xPRO.
