Joe Abi Akl

Joe Abi Akl serves as a Partner and Head of Retail and Consumer at Oliver Wyman since January 2024, focusing on the evolving consumer market across the India, Middle East, and Africa region. Additionally, Joe has been involved with the World Economic Forum since August 2018, contributing to several initiatives like the Chief Digital Officers Community and the Global Future Council on Consumption. Since June 2021, Joe has been an Advisory Council Member at Dubai Chambers, supporting the region's digital economic growth. Joe holds various advisory and observer roles with companies such as Boksha.com, BALY, and the Snapp Group, and has previously excelled in leadership positions at Majid Al Futtaim and Visa, among other organizations. Educational qualifications include an MBA from INSEAD, a Diploma from the Institute of Directors, and engineering degrees from Télécom Paris and Saint Joseph University of Beirut.
