Laura Razo

Laura Razo has a diverse work experience starting in 2012 as a Student Researcher with The University of Texas at Tyler. Laura then went on to work as a Tutor/Grader at East Central University from 2012 to 2013. In 2013, they worked as a Student Researcher at Arizona State University and later as part of the Environmental Research Apprenticeship Program at East Central University. Laura continued their research work as a Student Researcher at UCLA in 2014. Moving on, they served as an Office Assistant at East Central University and as a Student Researcher in the East Central University McNair Scholar's Program in 2014 and 2015, respectively. From 2016 to 2019, they held the position of Commercial Lines Account Manager at HUB International Mid-America. Following that, they worked as an Account Manager at InLight Risk Management, LLC from 2019 to 2020. Currently, Laura is working at Bold Penguin, where they initially started as a Data Scientist I from 2020 to 2021. Laura then transitioned to the role of Implementation Manager from 2021 to 2023, and currently, they hold the position of Director of Project Delivery, Insurance Intelligence since 2023.

Laura Razo earned a Bachelor's Degree in General Mathematics from East Central University between the years 2011 and 2015. Laura has also obtained various certifications, including Agile Development Practices, Agile Foundations, Comparing Agile versus Waterfall Project Management, Transitioning from Waterfall to Agile Project Management, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) from LinkedIn. In 2017, they obtained a CISR certification from The National Alliance for Insurance Education and Research. Additionally, they have completed Try SQL courses from Code School.
