Nate Doran

Nate Doran is a seasoned business professional with extensive experience in venture funding and startup support. Currently serving as Business Director at SWAN Venture Fund since January 2015, Nate invests in early-stage US and Canadian startups. Additionally, as a Venture Partner at Sybilla Masters Fund, Nate focuses on funding women-led tech companies in pre-seed and seed stages. Nate also holds a Board Member position at Bold Reuse, contributing to sustainable packaging solutions, and previously served as a Board Observer at CurvaFix, Inc. and a Partner at SWAN Venture Group. Earlier roles included significant positions at Keiretsu Forum Northwest, Element 8 Angels, and as a co-founder of C6 Systems, LLC. Nate's academic background includes an MBA from the UW Foster School of Business and master’s degrees in sociology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
