Matthew Nelson

Matthew Nelson has a diverse work experience in various engineering roles. Matthew is currently working as a Data Engineer at Team Virage since April 2023. Prior to that, Matthew worked as a Graduate Composite Design Engineer at BOLD starting from November 2022. Matthew also has experience as a Race Engineer at GRS Team from August 2021 to January 2022. Matthew gained valuable experience as a Race Engineering Intern at Campos Racing S.L. from January 2021 to May 2021, where they worked on car preparation and management for multiple racing series. Additionally, Matthew has worked as an Applecare Advisor at Apple from January 2018 to November 2020 and as an Engineering Intern and a Co-op Quality Engineer at Essity in 2019 and 2018 respectively. Matthew also worked as a Student Assistant at the University of Kentucky and was involved in Senior Design projects and independent research.

Matthew Nelson completed their Master's degree in Motorsport Engineering from Florida Universitaria in the year 2021. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering at the University of Kentucky, where they studied from 2014 to 2020. Alongside their formal education, Matthew obtained a certification in Project Management Foundations from LinkedIn in June 2022.
