Kip Martin

Lead Product Designer at Bold

Kip Martin has a diverse range of work experience in the field of design. Kip started their career as an Interactive Designer at SGI in 1995, followed by a role at Macromedia where they oversaw the user experience of the Shockwave\\Flash Download Portal. In 2001, they worked as an Interactive Designer at Health Net before joining Beachbody as a Visual Designer in 2003. At Beachbody, Kip redesigned print packaging and improved click-through rates for online sales.

From 2005 to 2007, Kip worked as a Freelance Designer, where they designed websites for JayLenosGarage.com and the "Reader Submitted Photos" area of the Los Angeles Times' website. Kip then worked as a Senior Art Director at Deutsch, designing websites and animations for various clients. Kip'snotable projects include designing a customized store locator for a UK grocery chain using Google Maps API.

In 2009, Kip joined The Walt Disney Company as a Senior Designer, leading the UI/UX design for TRON 3D Games Portal and creating a design system for Disney.com's Multi-Player Games Portal. Kip also received a Disney Inventor Award for their work on a kid-safe chat interface. Following their time at Disney, Kip worked as a Senior UI/UX Designer at Age of Learning, Inc. / ABCmouse.com, where they were involved in the design of the top-grossing kids' app in the US, China, and Japan.

In 2018, Kip founded the Evoc Design Agency, which specializes in providing brand and product design services for startups and social enterprise companies. The agency focuses on user-centric design practices and creates high-fidelity UI/UX design prototypes of mobile and web applications.

Currently, Kip is working as a Lead Product Designer at BOLD, where they validate product ideas through user research and designs user experiences for job seekers to find their dream jobs. Throughout their career, Kip has demonstrated expertise in UI/UX design, team leadership, and the ability to create innovative and user-friendly experiences.

Kip Martin attended the University of Florida, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in English Literature with an emphasis on Digital Design.
