Yalda Hosseini

Yalda Hosseini has extensive work experience in various engineering and IT roles. Yalda is currently working at Boliden as the Head of IT, Business Area Smelters, where they are responsible for local IT delivery. Prior to this, they worked at Siemens as the Head of Engineering (Automation, Drive & Electrical Eng.) Sweden and as the Head of Automation & Drive Engineering. Yalda also gained experience as a Senior Automation Engineer at Alfa Laval and as a Development Engineer / HMI-Developer at Scania Group. Yalda has worked at Sandvik Process Systems as an Application Engineer, Archive Engineer, and CNC Machinist and Programmer. Yalda started their career at Bosch Rexroth and Elwe Special Promotions B.V. as a Technical Sales/Automation Engineer.

Yalda Hosseini has a diverse education background. Yalda obtained a Bachelor's degree in Understanding Group and Leader (UGL) from Försvarshögskolan - Swedish Defence University in 2015. Prior to that, they completed a Master's degree in Mechatronic Engineering, specializing in Industrial Automation and Robotics, from Qazvin University between 2004 and 2009.

In terms of certifications, Yalda has recently obtained several qualifications in various fields. In 2022, they earned certifications in Artificial Intelligence Foundations: Machine Learning, Data Strategy, Foundations of the Fourth Industrial Revolution (Industry 4.0), Introducing AI to Your Organization, and Microsoft Cloud Fundamentals: Explore Cloud Services. Yalda also completed a Developmental Leadership certification from Mercuri International Sverige in the same year.

Currently, Yalda Hosseini is pursuing a degree in Developmental Leadership at Försvarshögskolan - Swedish Defence University.
