Christopher Shealy

Christopher Shealy has a diverse work experience in software engineering. Christopher is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Bolster since June 2020. Before that, they worked at Validity Inc. as a Software Engineer from August 2019 to May 2020, where they were involved in the acquisition of Return Path Inc. In Return Path, they held the role of Software Engineer from February 2019 to May 2020, where they implemented protocol buffers for communication between microservices, integrated Apache Kafka for data processing, and utilized monitoring and alerting tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and Scalyr.

Prior to that, Christopher worked at MATRIC | Mid-Atlantic Technology, Research & Innovation Center. From January 2018 to January 2019, they served as a Software Developer I, where they deployed Docker images and created inter-connected containers for a secure cluster environment. Christopher also integrated and created initialization scripts for various databases. Before that, they had a Software Developer Internship at MATRIC, where they gained experience in web-based presentation tool development using React, Node.js, and Meteor web framework. Christopher also practiced Agile methodology and version control with developer teams.

Christopher's work experience also includes a Developer Support Internship at NextGen Federal Systems from February 2016 to May 2017. In this role, they implemented communication between the user interface and database using the Volley HTTP library and designed a MySQL server for distributing coupons and tracking deals for promoting local businesses.
