Jennifer Melrose

Jennifer Melrose is a seasoned scientist with extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceuticals sectors. Currently serving as Principal Associate Scientist at Bolt Biotherapeutics, Inc. since March 2019, Jennifer previously held the position of Senior Associate Scientist/Group Leader at Eurofins DiscoverX, where responsibilities included overseeing assay operations in a cell culture laboratory. Earlier in their career, Jennifer was a Senior Associate Scientist at Bioseek, focusing on the development of in vitro inflammatory disease models, and an Associate Scientist at Protein Design Labs, concentrating on identifying novel targets for chronic inflammatory diseases. Jennifer began their research career as a Research Technologist II at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, specializing in in vitro cellular immunology and molecular biology. Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from Oregon State University and a Master of Science in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Hawaii at Manoa.
