Andy Elmhorst

Andy Elmhorst is a seasoned technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and architecture across various companies. Currently serving as Vice President of Engineering at Bolt since December 2022, Andy oversees technology and customer experience teams, focusing on AI-enabled, headless eCommerce solutions. Prior to this role, Andy was a Lead Software Engineer at Amazon, where responsibilities included rebuilding a critical service post the 2018 PrimeDay outage to ensure high availability during major events. Andy has also held key positions, including Director of Engineering and Principal Engineer at Kimono, LLC, Vice President of Architecture at Pearson managing a large architecture team, and Chief Architect at Edustructures, where innovative SaaS products were developed that contributed to successful exits.
