Garry Westwater

Garry Westwater is an experienced finance professional currently serving as the Executive Director of Finance at Bolton College since January 2017, where responsibilities include leading finance and marketing as well as contributing to the broader college strategy. In addition to this role, Garry is also the Group Finance Director (Designate) at The University of Bolton and serves as a Director at the High School of Dundee and WANDERERS SPORT IN THE COMMUNITY CIC. Furthermore, Garry holds a trustee/director position with the LOAI - Anderton Centre and has previously owned and managed Westwater Executive Limited, providing strategic financial leadership and consultancy. Garry's extensive experience in various senior finance roles includes interim positions at Inverness College and Askham Bryan College, as well as assistant principal roles at Dundee and Angus College and Dundee College. Garry Westwater is a qualified member of The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, holding both an ACMA and CGMA designation, along with an HND in Accounting from Fife College.
