Ryan Fridborg Sphr

Ryan Fridborg SPHR, SHRM-SCP has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries and roles. Ryan started their career as a Human Resources Manager at The Home Depot, where they were responsible for various HR functions such as recruitment, hiring, benefits enrollment, compensation, and employee relations.

Ryan then moved on to the Los Angeles County Department of Human Resources, where they served as a Human Resources Analyst III. In this role, they conducted workplace investigations in response to employee appeals and charges of harassment, discrimination, and retaliation. Ryan also worked with the EEOC and DFEH on behalf of the Office of Affirmative Action Compliance.

Ryan later joined Bolton & Company Insurance Brokers as an Executive Vice President, focusing on delivering employee benefit broker and consulting services to HR professionals. Ryan specialized in large group medical insurance, working with companies such as Anthem, Cigna, Blue Shield, Aetna, Kaiser, United Healthcare, and Health Net.

In addition to their work experience, Ryan Fridborg has also been actively involved in the Professionals In Human Resources Association (PIHRA) as a District 3 Board Member.

Ryan Fridborg SPHR, SHRM-SCP completed their education from Azusa Pacific University. Ryan obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, graduating in the year 2000. Later, they pursued a Master's degree in Organizational Development from the same university, completing it in 2002.

Along with their academic achievements, Ryan Fridborg has also obtained several certifications. In 2003, they earned the Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI. Then, in 2006, they obtained the Senior Human Resources Professional (SPHR) certification from the same institution.

In 2015, Ryan Fridborg added another certification to their list by acquiring the Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) designation from the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
