Thomas Doherty, E.I.T has a diverse work experience spanning various engineering roles. Thomas began their career in 2016 as an Analytics Intern at PayNet, Inc., where they contributed to the creation of financial models and presentations. In 2017, Thomas worked as an Engineering Laboratory Intern at the City of Minneapolis - Public Works Department. Following that, they joined Pie Consulting & Engineering in 2018 as a Forensic Engineer Intern, where they gained experience in construction site observations and report writing.

In 2019, Thomas joined Uni-Systems Engineering as a Junior Structural Engineer, responsible for structural analysis and design. Thomas also worked as a Structural Engineer Intern during this time. Currently, Thomas is employed at Bolton & Menk, Inc. as a Structural Design Engineer. In this role, they design bridge elements, performs calculations, utilizes software for design validation and analysis, and edits linework in MicroStation.

Thomas Doherty, E.I.T. earned their Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota, where they studied from 2015 to 2019. Prior to that, they completed their high school education at Libertyville High School from 2011 to 2015. Additionally, they obtained the Engineer In Training certification from the Minnesota Board of AELSLAGID in June 2019.
