Richard Cooper

Richard Cooper has a diverse work experience in the football industry, starting with their current role as Head of Football Administration at Bolton Wanderers Football Club. Prior to this, they served as a Judicial Panel - Independent Football Member at The Football Association. Richard has also held positions as Club Secretary at Fleetwood Town Football Club and Oldham Athletic (2004) Association Football Club Limited. In addition, Richard has worked at both the national and regional levels of The Football Association and Manchester Football Association, holding various positions related to discipline, regulations, and competitions. Before their career in football, they had roles at HSS Hire and City Link in buying, planning, and operations management.

Richard Cooper attended Denton West End Primary School from 1989 to 1995. After completing their primary education, they enrolled at Egerton Park High School from 1995 to 2000. Later, from 2015 to 2017, they attended Solent University, where they pursued a Certificate in Professional Sport Management and Administration (Football).
