EVP, Services and Support, and Corporate Strategy at Bombardier

Jean-Christophe Gallagher is Executive Vice President, Services and Support, and Corporate Strategy at Bombardier Aviation. He is mandated to define, implement and evolve the company’s long-term strategy to expand the aftermarket business while ensuring the customer experience is nothing short of exceptional around the world, day in and day out.

With a customer-centric approach at the core of the company’s values, Mr. Gallagher also leads the strategic planning process, aligning enterprise-wide functions to create long-term value at every step of the business jet lifecycle.

In the last four years, as Vice President and General Manager, Customer Experience, Mr. Gallagher has instilled the call to action “Bring Our Jets Home” across his worldwide organization of approximately 2,500 employees. He and his team have increased Bombardier’s service centre capacity, expanded its customer offerings and applied a relentless focus on customer satisfaction.

Mr. Gallagher joined Bombardier in 2002 as an engineering professional in Advanced Product Development. He has held various positions of increasing responsibility in the fields of engineering, program management, strategy, communications and marketing.

Mr. Gallagher is actively involved in developing the business aviation industry in Canada and internationally, and he sits on the Board of Directors of the Canadian Business Aviation Association.

He graduated from École Polytechnique de Montréal with a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering majoring in Aerospace (Honours) and is a member of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec. He earned his private pilot’s license in 1997. He is an accomplished photographer whose favourite subjects are his wife and two daughters.

Mr. Gallagher is based at Bombardier Aviation headquarters in Montreal, Canada.
