Brendan Downey

Brendan Downey is currently a Software Engineering Manager at Bombas, leading a small team of engineers and working as a high-level IC on a multi-platform full-stack solution. Previously, at Slalom Build, Brendan worked as an Architect on serverless PCI-compliant financial API on Node.js and cloud services. Their experience includes designing and leading major projects, managing teams, and utilizing a variety of technologies such as Ruby, Node, React, Apollo Federation, AWS, and more. Brendan also has experience as a Software Engineer at Abine, Inc. and as a Scripting Engineering Intern at KAYAK. Brendan holds a BS in Computer Engineering from Northeastern University.
