Kathryn Werthman has a diverse work experience in the design industry. Kathryn most recently worked as an Assistant Designer at Bombas, starting in June 2023. Prior to that, they had roles as a Wovens and Knitwear Assistant Designer and a Fashion Design Intern at Gabriela Hearst in 2023. In 2022, they gained experience as a Fashion Design Intern at KBL Group International LTD and as a Costume Design Intern at Eric Winterling Inc. In 2021, they interned as a Women's Knits & Sweaters Intern at Tommy Hilfiger. Kathryn also has experience as a User Experience Designer at Contrast & Co. in 2019 and as a Senior Digital Designer at Stanley Black & Decker, Inc. from 2016 to 2019. Prior to that, they worked as a Graphic Designer at DuClaw Brewing Company and Big Yellow Taxi Inc. in 2013. Kathryn also worked as a Freelance Graphic Designer at KAW Designs from September 2012 to April 2013.

Kathryn Werthman began their education journey in 2006 at Parsons School of Design, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Communication Design. After completing their undergraduate studies, they decided to further their knowledge and skills in the field of fashion/apparel design. In 2020, they enrolled at the Fashion Institute of Technology to pursue an Associate's degree in Fashion/Apparel Design. Following the completion of their associate's degree, Kathryn continued their education at the same institution and is currently working towards a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Fashion/Apparel Design, which they are expected to obtain in 2023.
