Michael Adamson

Michael Adamson has over 20 years of experience in mission integration and spiritual leadership in the healthcare industry. Michael has held various leadership roles, including Vice President of Mission Integration at Bon Secours Mercy Health and Interim Vice President of Mission at Avera Queen of Peace Hospital. Michael has also worked as a Mission Executive and Superintendent of Chapel Operations in the US Air Force Reserve. Michael has a strong background in promoting mission-oriented unity and ensuring the availability of spiritual care for personnel and their dependents. Throughout their career, Michael has provided direction and leadership in areas such as mission integration, workplace spirituality, patient advocacy, community outreach, and ethical decision-making.

Michael Adamson holds a Master of Arts degree in Pastoral Studies from the University of St. Thomas. Michael also has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration from Doane University and an Associate of Science degree in Marketing and Investment Management from Southeast Community College. In addition to their educational background, Michael Adamson has obtained several certifications, including Psychological First Aid Certification from the American Red Cross, Police Chaplain Certification from the International Conference of Police Chaplains, Critical Incident Stress Management Certification from CISM, and Board Certified Chaplain certification from the National Association of Catholic Chaplains. Michael has also received training in Lean Six Sigma: Green Belt from DMAIC Training.
