Amanda Rosenfield Lippes

Amanda is registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Her practice is focused on the areas of patent, trademark, copyright and licensing.

Amanda represents clients, from startups to multinational corporations, in all phases of patent prosecution, including accelerated examination, provisional filings, continuation and divisional practice, design patent filings and foreign patent strategy. Representative areas of technical experience include medical devices, mechanical devices, consumer products, automotive systems and software.

In addition to her patent practice, Amanda assists clients with all stages of trademark prosecution, including filing applications, responding to office actions and submitting post-registration maintenance documents. She also assists clients in managing their trademark portfolios, determining the availability of marks and monitoring the use of potentially confusing marks.

Amanda also assists clients with patentability assessment, validity/freedom-to-operate analysis and portfolio management. She advises clients to develop cost-efficient and goal-oriented strategies that can incorporate multiple forms of intellectual property rights to provide broad and comprehensive legal protection.
