Waqas Ahmed

Waqas Ahmed is an experienced engineering executive currently serving as EVP Engineering at Atelio by FIS since June 2023, leading the development of a global fintech platform. Prior to this role, Waqas was VP of Engineering at Coinbase, overseeing core fintech initiatives including payment rails and compliance technology between November 2021 and February 2023. Waqas also held a prominent position at Amazon, starting as a Software Development Manager and advancing to Sr. Director of Computer Vision and Engineering, where responsibilities included scaling technology such as Just Walk Out Technology and managing a large team.
