Andrew Westwood

Andrew Westwood has an extensive work experience history spanning several companies and roles. Andrew began their career at Dana UK in 1986, where they worked in finance for 11 years. Andrew then joined Thomas William Lench Ltd in 1998 and worked in a finance role until 2001. Following this, Andrew briefly worked at Tomkinsons Carpets (Gaskell plc) in a finance position in 2001 before moving on to Ring-gard, where they worked in finance from 2002 to 2004.

In 2004, Andrew joined Atotech UK Ltd as the Head of Finance and held this position until 2023. During their time with Atotech, they also served as the Head of Finance for Atotech Skandinavien AB, Atotech South Africa, and North Europe. In 2021, Andrew joined MSD Atotech, where they worked as the Head of Finance until 2023.

Most recently, Andrew joined the Bone Cancer Research Trust in 2023 as the Head of Finance and Resources.

Andrew Westwood has been pursuing education and professional development throughout their career. Andrew enrolled in the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in 1996 and is expected to complete their studies in 2022. During this time, they obtained various certifications and achieved the status of Fellow in the Institute of Financial Accountants and the Association of Accounting Technicians in 2008 and 1993, respectively. These designations demonstrate their expertise and commitment to the field of accounting. Additionally, Andrew has also obtained several certifications in areas such as Leading with Emotional Intelligence, Managing in a Matrixed Organization, Managing Office Politics, and Managing Stress for Positive Change from LinkedIn in 2021. These certifications indicate their desire to enhance their skills beyond traditional academic education.
