Thirumoorthi T is a highly experienced engineering professional with a focus on mechanical design and research and development. Currently serving as Senior Manager - R&D at Bonfiglioli since November 2014, Thirumoorthi leads a team in developing advanced structural solutions, hydraulic system designs, and conducting safety and environmental risk assessments. Previously held positions include Deputy Manager and Assistant Manager, where Thirumoorthi was involved in feasibility studies and FEA analysis for various applications such as wind energy and electric vehicles. Prior to Bonfiglioli, Thirumoorthi worked as a Senior Design Engineer at TAFE, contributing to heavy-duty axle design and validation, and held a similar role at KONE Corporation, focusing on the design of door and sheet metal components. Thirumoorthi holds a Master of Engineering in Product Design and Development from the College of Engineering, Guindy, and a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Thanthai Periyar Government Institute of Technology.
