Josh Mosqueira

Josh Mosqueira has a long and varied work experience. Josh began their career in 1993 as a Reservist (Infantry) in the Canadian Armed Forces. Josh then moved on to work as an RPG Writer and Designer for various publishers in 1995. In 1998, they took on the role of Lead Designer at Dream Mechanics. From 2000 to 2001, they worked as a Game Designer at Vicarious Visions. In 2001, they became the Design Director at Relic Entertainment, where they were the Lead Designer on Company of Heroes and Homeworld 2. In 2006, they joined the Vancouver Film School as a Game Design Instructor and a member of the VFS Game Design program advisory board. In 2008, they became the Creative Director at Ubisoft, where they were responsible for the initial concept and creative direction for FarCry 3, and they were also a member of the Design Academy board. From 2011 to 2016, they were the Game Director at Blizzard Entertainment. Finally, in 2016, they co-founded Bonfire Studios, Inc., a game studio located in Irvine, California, where they serve as the Design Director.

Josh Mosqueira attended Dawson College from 1990 to 1992, where they obtained a DEC in Creative Arts - Cinema and Film Production. Josh then went on to attend McGill University from 1993 to 1997, where they obtained a BA in English Literature.
