Libby Massey

Libby Massey has extensive legal experience, currently serving as Managing Deputy General Counsel at Chicago Public Schools since February 2018, after progressing through various legal roles including Deputy General Counsel and Assistant General Counsel. Additionally, Libby holds positions as an Executive Council Member for the United Way of Metro Chicago and a Small Group Leader at Bonfire. Prior legal experience includes serving as an attorney for U.S. Customs and Border Protection and as an Associate Attorney at Robbins Schwartz, focusing on labor and employment law. Earlier roles include positions at Chicago Public Schools, various internships, and clerkships during legal education. Libby earned a J.D. in Public Interest Law from DePaul University College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in International/Global Studies and Political Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
