Daryl Wong's work experience begins in 2009 at Country Heights Holdings Berhad, where they held the position of Manager/Head of Group Training & Talent Development. In this role, they were responsible for training and development, talent management, and succession planning. Daryl designed and implemented various development and enhancement programs for internal talents and facilitated the company's leadership and succession planning processes.

In 2012, Daryl joined Agensi Inovasi Malaysia as the VP of Performance Management, where they contributed to advancing innovation through collaborations between the government, academia, and industry.

Moving on to Sunway Group in 2014, Daryl served as the Assistant General Manager of Organizational Development. Daryl partnered with business and function heads to identify talent needs, took charge of end-to-end recruitment, and acted as a subject matter expert in talent management and organizational development. Daryl also participated in HR business partnering and stakeholder management.

From 2016 to 2018, Daryl worked as the General Manager of Corporate Human Resources at IGE Group of Companies, a multi-business company in Myanmar. Daryl played a critical role in the company's various high-growth sectors, such as telecommunications, power, energy, real estate, construction, and hospitality.

In 2019, Daryl joined Bridge ICD Sdn Bhd as an HR and OD Consultant, where they contributed in change management initiatives, leadership and management needs analysis, talent management and development, employee engagement, KPI framework design and implementation, learning needs analysis, and performance improvement initiatives.

Most recently, in 2021, Daryl joined Bonia Corporation Berhad as the Group Human Resources Director.

Daryl Wong obtained a BA in Business Administration (Finance) from Wichita State University between 1996 and 1998. Later, they pursued a Masters of Science in Management from Friends University, completing it from 1998 to 2000. In addition to their formal education, Daryl also obtained several certifications, including the DISC Personal Profile Analysis (PPA) from Thomas International in March 2015, the Situational Leadership II Experience from Ken Blanchard in March 2014, and a Certificate in Train-the-Trainer from HRDF - Human Resources Development Fund Malaysia in 2015. Daryl is also a Certified Timeline Therapy Practitioner and an NLP Certified Practitioner, but the institutions and specific dates for these certifications were not provided.
