Job description

Job Description (Remote, US based only)

At Bonusly, we are on a mission to bring intention back to work and unlock a team’s performance. We are building a tool for the future of work, where people feel deeply appreciated, connected to their coworkers and motivated to continuously learn and do their best work. And we are helping managers and leaders to enable that performance, not just manage it.

Since 2013, Bonusly has been solving these very human problems through software. It’s also why we care deeply about design. For us it’s both how it functions and how it looks. As a Senior Product Designer, you’ll stretch your creativity to define product strategy. We expect a broad set of design skills and the ability to utilize design to make the ambiguous tangible to inform product direction. We strongly believe that attention to detail and a design-centric approach are the core of creating exceptional user experiences.

✅ At Bonusly, you’ll…

  • Contribute to overall strategy and decision-making about product direction
  • Lead end-to-end design projects and work closely with engineers and other stakeholders to ensure a high-quality implementation
  • Analyze the use of our product and come up with features and improvements that ship quickly and with high-quality
  • Create flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals for your features (we use Figma!)
  • Lead workshops that bring various stakeholders together
  • Pose and analyze user research to verify product hypotheses and iterate on solutions based on customer feedback
  • Dive deep into the topic of ‘future of work’ and innovate in the HR space
  • Help accurately scope project work and collaboration with product, engineering and other designers
  • Participate and contribute new rituals, approaches or practices to our design culture

💚 You’re a great fit if you…

  • Have 5+ years of product design experience with a proven track record of designing and launching new products (0-1 experience).
  • Can show us a portfolio showcasing your skills in UX, UI and interaction design
  • Have a passion for design and obsess over new products and experience approaches because you always want to do better and keep learning.
  • Understand that great design has as much to do with instinct as it does with quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
  • Believe that good design can also emerge when jamming with product-minded engineers when they're in the code.
  • Have demonstrated commitment to culture. People might have called you a culture carrier before.
  • Can effortlessly motivate and drive towards sound and intuitive product experiences
  • Are capable of helping a team navigate ambiguity, set vision, and set strategy
  • Have strong storytelling, presentation, communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Have a maker mindset. You want to build something that you yourself would love to use.

Compensation:

  • Target Salary Range: $120,000 - $180,000 (this range incorporates multiple job levels)
  • Target Equity: 0.05% - 0.13%
