William J. Craig has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In their most recent position as Senior Vice President of Operations and Compliance Officer at Bonzo, they oversee day-to-day operations for Support, Onboarding, and Integration teams, ensuring long-term scalability and compliance with state and federal regulations. Prior to that, they served as Senior Vice President of Operations, where they managed growth, expansion, and processes for the Support, Onboarding, and Integration teams. William J. also held the position of Vice President of Membership, overseeing the Membership Team and providing strategic guidance on account strategy and non-coding integrations.
Before joining Bonzo, William worked as a Patent Agent at Calyx Law, prosecuting biotechnical and software patent applications. William J. drafted over 30 applications and claims, as well as created figures.
Earlier in their career, William was an Environmental Protection Specialist - Project Manager at the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency, where they managed the remediation of Leaking Underground Storage Tank sites and acted as the Section's Enforcement Coordinator. William J. also served as a Project Manager - Intern, assisting in the remediation of contaminated sites and obtaining OSHA HAZWOPER 40 Hour Safety training.
Additionally, William gained experience as a Conservation Worker at the Illinois Department of Natural Resources, conducting park maintenance and grounds work, and as a Co-Founder and Client Acquisition Manager at Emagine Management, LLC, developing and acquiring talent in the eSports industry.
Furthermore, they worked as a Biologist - Governors Environmental Corps Intern at the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency, distributing grants and compiling water treatment facility data. William J. also held positions as a Research Technician at Syncrude Canada Ltd., where they collected and analyzed data at reclamation sites, and as a Laboratory Technician at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale, preparing and identifying annelid specimens.
William's early work experience includes roles as a Conservation Worker at the Illinois Department of Natural Resources and an Assembly Line Worker at Agri-Fab.
William J. Craig obtained their Master of Science degree in Sustainable Development, Planning, and GIS from the University of Illinois Springfield from 2017 to 2020. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences with a focus on Ecology and minors in Chemistry and Environmental Studies at Southern Illinois University, Carbondale from 2013 to 2017. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have also obtained a certification as a U.S. Registered Patent Agent from the USPTO in 2021.
