Dillon Deffense

Dillon Deffense serves as the President of Book & Ladder since August 2021, overseeing property management for a diverse portfolio of 37 student housing and multifamily properties across 18 states, with a significant presence in Texas. Concurrently, Dillon holds the position of President at Crew Enterprises, focusing on private equity and asset management for multifamily and student housing properties nationwide. Previous experience includes roles at PepsiCo, where Dillon participated in an Executive MBA program, and as a District Leader in the Frito-Lay Division. Additional roles in business development span from managing a franchise launch for a local restaurant in Hawaii to serving as a Business Development Manager at Slopeblock Inc. Dillon's early career includes public safety roles with California State Parks as a lifeguard and experience in the food service industry with The Cheesecake Factory and In-N-Out Burger.
