Sari Forsström has over 15 years of experience in the publishing industry. Sari is currently the Director of Business Development for BookBeat Finland, a digital subscription service. Since joining BookBeat in 2017 as a Business Development Manager, Sari has focused on content and content insight. Prior to BookBeat, they worked as a Content Manager at the same company from 2015 to 2016.
Before their time at BookBeat, Sari served as the Sales and Marketing Manager for the Finnish Literature Society (SKS) from 2013 to 2015. Sari also held the position of Publishing Manager for Bonnier Books Finland from 2012 to 2013, handling paperbacks, e-books, and audio books.
Sari began their publishing career at WSOY, a Bonnier Group Company, where they served as the Publishing Manager for Non Fiction from 2008 to 2011. Prior to that, they were the Editorial Manager for WSOY from 2005 to 2008. Sari's extensive experience in various publishing roles showcases their expertise and knowledge in the industry.
Sari Forsström completed their education with a Master of Arts (MA) degree in History from the University of Helsinki. Sari pursued this degree from 1991 to 1997. Subsequently, they continued their academic endeavors and obtained a Licentiate degree in History from the same university, completing their studies from 1997 to 2001.
