Gavin Barton

Gavin Barton is currently the VP of Engineering at Booking.com, overseeing tech for the Accommodations section. Prior to this role, Gavin served as the Chief Technology Officer for Transport at Booking.com and Rentalcars.com. Gavin also led engineering teams at BBC and Manheim Retail Services, showcasing their expertise in software engineering, architecture, and technology delivery. With a 1st Class MEng (Hons) in Software Engineering from the University of Manchester, Gavin has a solid technical background and extensive experience in driving innovation and leading teams across various industries.
