Rebecca Thornburgh

Rebecca Thornburgh is a versatile professional with extensive experience in the arts and education. Currently serving as a Reviewer for Booklist since March 2023, Rebecca evaluates children's picture books and graphic novels for a publication aimed at libraries, educators, and booksellers. An illustrator and author since 1993, Rebecca has also contributed to the music scene as the Lead Singer for Reckleas Amateurs from 2000 to 2017 and held the role of Interim Executive Director at the Mendelssohn Club of Philadelphia in two separate tenures. Additionally, Rebecca has taught as an Adjunct Instructor at Moore College of Art and Design, focusing on small business practices and marketing for arts students. Rebecca holds a Master of Fine Arts in Children's and Adolescent Literature from Hamline University, an MBA from The Wharton School, and an A.B. in Fine Art from Bryn Mawr College.
