Jade Virgil

Jade Virgil has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. They started their career as a Biochemistry Tutor and Study Abroad Peer Advisor at the University of Northern Colorado in 2016. In 2018, they interned at Make-A-Wish Colorado and also worked as a TaLK Scholar, teaching English in rural South Korea as part of a government scholarship. The following year, Jade worked as an Intern and Cast Member at The Walt Disney Company before becoming an English Second Language Teacher at Qkids. From 2020 to 2022, they taught English as a Second Language with the English Program in Korea (EPIK). In 2022, Jade joined BookNook as a Reading Teacher and is currently working as a Student Success Representative at the University of Denver.

Jade Virgil has a Master's degree in Public Policy from the University of Denver - Josef Korbel School of International Studies, which was earned from 2022 to 2024. Prior to this, Jade obtained a Master's Certificate in Diplomacy from Texas A&M University - The Bush School of Government and Public Service, completing the program from 2020 to 2021. Jade also holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Services and Community Health from the University of Northern Colorado, although the specific years of study are unknown. In addition, Jade attended Korea University, where they focused on Korean Unification Diplomacy and Security. However, the specific degree obtained from Korea University is not known.

Jade has obtained additional certifications, including a Graduate Certificate in Advanced International Affairs from Texas A&M University - The Bush School of Government and Public Service, which was achieved in December 2020. They also hold a Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL) certification from i-to-i TEFL, obtained in December 2019.
