Bill Melvin

Bill Melvin is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in leadership roles across various companies. Currently serving as Chief Information Officer at Books A Million since March 2021 and Principal Consultant at Pivotal Thought Technology since June 2018, Bill has previously held significant positions such as VP of Retail Technology Practice at Cyber Group Inc., SVP and CIO at francesca’s®, and SVP of Information Technology at Stage Stores. Bill's career also includes pivotal roles at The Children's Place, The Men's Wearhouse, AT&T Wireless, and PepsiCo. Bill holds a Bachelor of Science degree from The Wharton School and a BS in Information Systems and Organizational Management from the University of Pennsylvania, supplemented by an MBA in Finance and Economics from Baylor University.
