Pat Plonski currently serves as the Executive Director of Books For Africa, an organization recognized in the top 3% of charities in the U.S. by Charity Navigator since January 2003. Prior experience includes being an Adjunct Instructor in the Agricultural Education Department at the University of Minnesota and leading a study abroad program focused on agricultural and wine industries in South Africa. Pat also held the position of Executive Director for the Minnesota Agricultural Education Leadership Council, where responsibilities included coordinating agricultural education activities and establishing various programs. Additionally, experience as a Committee Administrator for the Minnesota House of Representatives involved organizing committee meetings and legislative preparation. Educational qualifications include a PhD in International Education from the University of Minnesota and participation in executive education programs at Georgetown University and Harvard Kennedy School, alongside degrees in History and Political Science from Saint John's University and a Master’s in History from the University of Minnesota.
