Jobe Makar

Jobe Makar is a seasoned technology professional currently serving as a Senior Principal Engineer and Senior Architect at Boom Entertainment since January 2022. Prior experience includes roles as Director of Architecture and Director of Technology at High 5 Games from May 2013 to January 2022. Jobe co-founded Electrotank in 2001, where responsibilities included serving as President and Chief Architect until the company's acquisition by High 5 Games. Earlier experience includes development work at Allen Interactions, notably creating Flash-based e-learning programs and an animated flight information display for United Airlines. Jobe Makar holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics from East Carolina University and has pursued further education at North Carolina State University and Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan.
