Filip Sablik

Filip Sablik has extensive experience in the publishing and marketing industry. Filip started their career at Diamond Comic Distributors as an Assistant Manager of the Print Team Purchasing Department, where they worked from 2001 to 2006. Filip then joined Top Cow Productions, first as the Vice President of Marketing & Sales from 2006 to 2008, and then as the Publisher from 2008 to 2012. In these roles, they developed and implemented marketing strategies, managed promotional efforts, and worked closely with promotional partners. Sablik joined BOOM! Studios in 2012 as the VP of Publishing & Marketing, and later became the President, overseeing logistical publishing concerns, marketing and sales initiatives, new business development, and deal and contract negotiations. During their tenure, BOOM! Studios experienced significant revenue growth, acquired Archaia, attracted a minority stake investment from 20th Century Fox, and achieved the prestigious "Premier" status by Diamond Comic Distributors.

Filip Sablik attended Maryland Institute College of Art from 1996 to 2000, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) degree in Illustration.
