Carl Gross

Carl Gross is a Principal Structures Engineer at Boom Supersonic, leading the airframe design team for the Overture project. In their previous role at Boom Supersonic, Carl served as the Senior Structures Engineer for the XB-1 project, overseeing the design of the aft fuselage. With experience as Chief Engineer and Project Lead at ExoTerra Resource, Carl managed technical teams and developed processes for various programs. Additionally, Carl has worked on projects ranging from NASA's Orion Heatshield to Sierra Nevada's Dream Chaser space plane during their time at Lockheed Martin Space Systems Company. Carl holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder and a Graduate Certificate in Computer Science from Stanford University.
